Position Summary:The substitute teacher will ensure continuity of education by stepping in for an absent teacher, implementing lesson plans, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment, and managing student behavior.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Deliver the absent teacher’s lesson plan.
- Maintain class order and a safe learning environment.
- Supervise students.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to form positive relationships with students.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- A short‑call substitute teaching license is available to individuals who hold either a bachelor’s degree or are enrolled in a teacher preparation program.
