Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with proven experience in educational interpreting
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as RID, EIPA, or state equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience working in school settings supporting students and staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and professionalism in dynamic environments
- Provide accurate and effective interpretation services for students, faculty, and parents
- Facilitate clear communication in academic, extracurricular, and administrative settings
- Ensure confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Support classroom participation and social integration for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to foster inclusivity
