Full Time or Part Time: Part Time
Job DescriptionThe Student Development (SDV) Instructor will teach courses and, as the SDV program head, assist the school dean with college-wide management duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver teaching sessions in a variety of settings across multiple campuses and flexible times.
- Oversee the SDV program, ensuring program health and compliance.
- Develop and evaluate curriculum, faculty development activities, and assessment strategies.
- Manage scheduling and staffing for the SDV program.
- Bachelor’s degree in the teaching field or an Associate’s degree in the teaching field with demonstrated competency.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Community college or high school teaching experience.
- Experience placing emphasis on student-centered learning and facilitating innovative learning experiences.
- Experience communicating and working effectively with multicultural populations to support diversity, cultural understanding, and inclusion.
