Join E‑Therapy as an Onsite Special Education Teacher in Crewe, VA for the 26/27 School Year. E‑Therapy is hiring for a special education teacher to support students with individual education plans. • Credentials: VA Special Education Teacher credential required
• Compensation:
  Starting at $42/hour (commensurate with experience)

  Crewe, VA – Onsite Only

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide specialized instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills, adapting curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Use evidence‑based teaching practices and assistive technologies to facilitate learning.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress toward IEP goals, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices and provide accommodations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and communication.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and student support team meetings.
• Provide support and guidance to paraprofessionals and other support staff.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience teaching students with disabilities.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of residence.
• Passionate about working with students in a virtual or onsite setting to help them achieve their best.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility.
