Position Summary:
The substitute teacher will ensure continuity of education by stepping in for an absent teacher, implementing lesson plans, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment, and managing student behavior.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver the absent teachers lesson plan
- Maintain class order and a safe learning environment
- Supervise students
Qualification Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to form positive relationships with students
- Must be able to pass a background check
Education and Experience:
A short-call substitute teaching license is available to individuals who hold either a bachelor's degree or are enrolled in a teacher preparation program.
