Adjunct Faculty – Professional Programs

Teach undergraduate‑level college courses, including distance learning, on and off campus, in day, evening, and weekend sessions. Schedule and deliver up to 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters, and up to 8 credit hours during Summer sessions. Teaching load is based on student enrollment and staffing needs. A teaching demonstration may be required.

• Master’s degree; at least 18 graduate semester hours in the relevant discipline or prefix for the class.
• For certain developmental or technical courses, a Bachelor’s degree, special certification, and/or pertinent work experience may be acceptable.
• History of successful teaching or related experience.
• Proficiency in instructional technology.

Part‑time appointment with compensation per credit hour, commensurate with education and teaching experience. Not eligible for health or leave benefits. May be eligible for educational benefits through the college’s professional development and educational assistance policies.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned, and to assist the agency or state government in emergencies per Governor declaration.
