Hiring Range: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant teaching experience.
Full Time or Part Time: Part Time
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate level college courses, including distance learning, on‑ and off‑campus courses during day, evening, and weekends.
- Deliver teaching demonstrations as required.
- Handle a teaching load of up to 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semesters and up to 8 credit hours during the Summer session, based on student enrollment and staffing needs.
- Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline or prefix specific to the class.
- History of successful teaching or related experience.
- Proficiency in using instructional technology.
- For certain developmental or technical courses, a Bachelor’s degree with special certification and/or relevant work experience is acceptable.
- Must pass the college's pre‑employment security screening.
Compensation is per credit hour and based upon rank. The position is part time and therefore is not eligible for health or leave benefits. Educational benefits may be offered through professional development and educational assistance policies.
