Adjunct Faculty Pool - Communication Studies

We are seeking qualified adjunct faculty members in the discipline of Communication Studies to teach the course Principles of Public Speaking in the Higher Education in Prison Program.

• Teach developmental and/or college‑level courses, including distance‑learning courses as required.
• Provide face‑to‑face instruction with the possibility of remote instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist in emergency response if needed.
• Deliver instruction on weekdays and weekends, during day or evening as required.

• Master’s degree in Communication Studies or master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Communication Studies (Ph.D. preferred).
• Minimum of two years teaching experience; experience with online teaching desirable.
• Expertise, knowledge, experience, and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
• Ability to travel to any college campus or site location as assigned.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States; successful completion of a criminal background investigation is required.

Positions are part‑time, course‑by‑course, semester basis. Remuneration is commensurate with education and experience. Telework options may be available. No immigration sponsorship at this time.
