Adjunct Faculty Pool – Nutrition, Public & Community Health
About the RoleAdjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis and may include distance‑learning and face‑to‑face instruction. Students may be taught during the day, evening, weekdays, and weekends, with a primary emphasis on in‑person teaching and the possibility of remote instruction.
Responsibilities- Teach developmental and/or college‑level courses in Nutrition, Public & Community Health.
- Deliver courses via distance‑learning and in‑person formats as required.
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and student advising.
- May be required to perform additional duties as assigned and assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant teaching field, with industry experience and an industry‑specific credential or license as applicable.
- Master’s degree in the field is preferred.
- At least two years of teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with online teaching.
- Expertise, knowledge, and successful teaching experience in Nutrition or Public & Community Health.
- Position is part‑time; faculty appointment is semester‑based.
- Travel to and from any PVCC campus or site location as assigned.
