Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking qualified applicants to fill this part‑time position within the Health Professions Department. Qualified candidates will possess excellent computer skills, demonstrate flexibility, and be open‑minded, fair, and able to see multiple perspectives. Candidates should be willing to take and manage risks, accept responsibility for professional and personal growth, and be willing to work flexible hours.

• Provide general classroom and clinical laboratory instruction both online and in a traditional setting.
• Teach face‑to‑face classes, including days, evenings, and weekends, both on and off campus.
• Incorporate the latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
• Assist in program recruitment.
• Advise students who are in the program or aspire to be in the program.
• Monitor and improve student retention.
• Maintain class records, input grades, and attendance.
• Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
• Participate in faculty committees and other activities as assigned.

Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty:
The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part‑time and thus not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies. • Associate’s Degree.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Specific certifications and qualifications may be required depending on the program.
