Mathematics Adjunct Instructors

Job Summary

Reynolds Community College, one of the largest community colleges in Virginia, is hiring part‑time adjunct teaching faculty for transfer mathematics courses.

This part‑time adjunct teaching faculty‑ranked appointment involves teaching developmental and transfer mathematics courses across any of the college’s campuses.

• Teach developmental and transfer mathematics courses as assigned.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a Master’s degree in a different teaching field with at least eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in mathematics.
• Successful completion of the college’s pre‑employment security screening.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with multicultural populations.

• Current or previous teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Experience teaching with or using an online course management system.

Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be needed.
