Adjunct Instructor – Information Systems Technology
Reynolds Community College is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. This part‑time adjunct teaching faculty‑ranked appointment is for Information Systems Technology courses, including both online and in‑person delivery.
ResponsibilitiesMay be required to perform other duties as assigned, and may be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Work schedule varies depending on class schedules and school needs. Adjunct instructors may teach online, day, and evening classes.
KSA's /Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology; or a Master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in Information Systems Technology.
- Knowledge of instructional technology applications, such as the Canvas learning management system.
- Related teaching experience in the community college and/or online is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi‑cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding, and inclusion is preferred.
Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be needed.
