Adjunct Faculty - Anatomy and Physiology
Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for an Anatomy and Physiology adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis as needed.
Responsibilities- Teach college‑level Anatomy and Physiology courses, including distance learning on‑ and off‑campus courses during the day, evenings, and weekends.
- Teach courses across Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray‑Page County Center as needed.
- Conduct instruction in both in‑person and online formats.
- Master’s degree in Anatomy and Physiology, or a Master’s with at least 18 graduate credits in the field.
- Proficiency in instructional technology and familiarity with Canvas or other online course management tools.
- Occupational experience in the field.
- College‑level teaching experience; experience with online instruction is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty:
The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part‑time and not eligible for health or leave benefits, but may offer educational benefits through professional development and educational assistance policies.
