Description
Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church's MDO & Preschool is looking for a Certified Preschool Teacher who loves the Lord and His children, and who is outgoing, dedicated, and organized for our school year. Our program runs M-F from 8:45am-1:15pm. Preplanning begins August 5th. Mission Statement:

Through the MDO and Preschool, we extend this nurturing ministry of the church to children, families, and the community to provide a loving, Christian, quality environment, and education to young developing minds.
& Duties
- Provide a loving, Christian environment that is nurturing & developmentally appropriate.
- Follow a curriculum for lesson planning.
- Implement circle time, arts and crafts, center time learning through play, and assist children during lunchtime and recess.
- Evaluate student’s progress twice a year and meet with parents/guardians for conferences.
- Maintain open communication with children, families, staff and directors.
- Help maintain the health and safety of the environment.
- Education:
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree. - Professional:
Two years of experience in early childhood education and/or working with preschool-aged children. - Must exhibit strong classroom management & flexibility with daily schedule.
- Must maintain a positive attitude while working with the children and other Reid MDO/Preschool Staff.
- CPR/First Aid (preferred but not a prerequisite).
