• Have a genuine passion for early childhood education
• Are reliable, engaging, patient, and thrive in a dynamic classroom
• Love building relationships with children, families, and your team
• Are flexible and ready to adapt to the needs of your students and school

• CDA, ECE certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent coursework)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility or active enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience.
• Ability to meet VA licensing standards and pass a background check
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs
• Ability to cultivate a safe and stimulating classroom environment

• The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
• The pay range listed is what we in good faith anticipate offering for this job position.
• Actual compensation within this range will be determined by several factors, including a candidate’s experience, education and training, certifications, geographic location and other relevant organization and business factors.

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to your students
• Support children through learning, playing, meals, and resting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment
• Collaborate with your team to develop creative curriculum ideas
• Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates
