The Company

Full-service electrical power systems firm testing, commissioning, and maintaining medium- and high-voltage substation infrastructure across utility, renewables/BESS, industrial, and petrochemical markets. HQ'd in Houston, TX, but this seat is field-based out of the VA/GA/NC/SC region
The Role
:
Testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage substation equipment to keep power systems safe and reliable. Works under NETA/IEEE/NFPA standards, client-facing, reports findings via technical reports
- o:
Perform electrical testing on substation and switch gear apparatus, including protective relaying, circuit breakers, power transformers, CTs/PTs, meters, power cable, grounding systems, motors/motor starters, station batteries/chargers, and P - PETroubleshoot and identify problems, recommend corrective action or repai
- rs Generate technical reports detailing services provided, issues found, and corrective action taken or recommend
- ed Interface directly with clients in a professional capaci
- ty Communicate regularly with management on project status, scheduling of manpower and equipme
- es:
AAS in Electrical/Electronics Technology, or equivalent hands-on high-voltage industry experie - nce2+ years in high-voltage testing (NETA firm background preferr

Based in or able to work from Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carol - ina Travel required — this is a field-based, multi-state role covering sites across VA/GA/NC/SC (50%+ trav
