Civil Engineer- Roadway Construction

WTS Energy is looking for experienced Civil Engineers to support a major roadway infrastructure project in Virginia
. This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale transportation project focused on improving mobility, safety, and long-term infrastructure performance.

• Support roadway construction operations including grading, paving, drainage, and structures
• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Assist with quantity take-offs, cost tracking, and schedule updates
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors to resolve field issues
• Participate in submittals, RFIs, change orders, and documentation control
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Promote and support a strong safety culture on the project site
• Assist with CPM schedule updates and progress reporting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Experience in roadway or heavy civil construction
• Knowledge of DOT standards, specifications, and roadway construction practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools a plus
• Right to work in USA
