Introduction

Looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join our Engineering department.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering data for new business;
Facelift;
Engineering change instructions or requests for quotes.

Analyse production drawings and prepare Production Engineering Data for implementation into production.

Prepare implementation of new models, face-lifts & ECI projects from concept phase to production start-up.

Investigate localization, VA/VE, and standardisation.

Conduct design reviews with the Design Team and Yazaki.

Identify training requirements for new equipment and processes.

Minimum Requirements

National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Essential).

B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Desirable).

Project Management Diploma (Advantageous).

2 to 3 years Product Development experience in the automotive environment (Essential).

Experience in a Wire harness environment (Desirable).

2 years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans, APQP) (Advantageous).
