Compensation$110,000–$140,000
Education & SecurityBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 7+ years of direct engineering experience. Security clearance required: none.

Responsibilities- Track, assess, and report RF spectrum regulatory actions related to Federal agencies (DoD, DoC, NASA).
- Provide subject matter expertise to Federal agencies across various RF spectrum related topics and working groups.
- Participate and establish technical rules and procedures for spectrum sharing and spectrum coordination with federal agencies and international administrations.
- Assist regulatory and policy team in evaluating and conducting analysis on new rule making procedures and submissions.
- Conduct analysis and assessment of the RF spectrum environment (i.e., spectrum map) in the Radar Next timeframe.
- Conduct Spectrum Utilization Assessment, Radar System Modeling and Simulation, and Interference Analysis and Mitigation Strategy.
- Establish technical parameters and standards governing the use of each frequency band or specific service, if applicable.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in satellite & cellular telecommunications industry.
- 7+ years of experience in RF spectrum management engineering.
- In‑depth knowledge of FCC rules, procedures, and rule‑making processes.
- In‑depth knowledge of ITU.
- Satellite network coordination and communication.
- Experience coordinating with Federal Agencies (NOAA, DoD, DoC, NASA).
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering analysis.
- Ability to use RF engineering tools (e.g., Visualyse) and MATLAB.
- Excellent written and communications skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Primary work environment is remote; however, domestic and/or international travel may be required.
