Precision Collective is seeking a mid-level Logistics Engineer to support a federal customer responsible for managing technical services associated with the training and maintenance of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense equipment. This role is ideal for those with a strong foundation in military CBRN training and logistics - and who are excited to contribute to domestic and international Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) threat reduction programs.
This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
As part of a technical team, the Logistics Engineer will apply expertise across a range of force protection functions. In this role, you will maintain and conduct shelf-life surveillance of CBRN or Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) protective clothing and equipment; decontamination kits; and hazard detection equipment to include Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). The role blends hands‑on logistics management with training delivery.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver hands‑on operator level training for all equipment issued to military or government personnel in support of real‑world operations or exercises.
This is a full‑time position based in Alexandria, VA., with up to 5% domestic travel required.

- Employ appropriate military and/or commercial maintenance and calibration method(s).
- Provide the level of maintenance specific to the type of equipment being used at operator and unit/ organizational level as indicated in the maintenance section of manuals.
- Utilize the existing Government inventory system and/or adapt to any future designated system for tracking inventory.
- Identify all hazardous materials requiring disposal and notify the Government representative of their disposition.
- Properly prepare hazardous material for disposal IAW all applicable Government, state, and county rules and regulations.
- Provide hands‑on operator‑level maintenance training for all equipment issued in support of mission activities.
- Identify specific instructions for the disposal of radioactive source material to the Government.
- Transport equipment to and from the training facility for delivery to calibration and maintenance facilities, Original Equipment Manufacturers, disposal facilities, or vendors.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4 years of experience performing operator level maintenance for CBRN or HAZMAT equipment
- 4 years of experience developing and conducting operator level training on CBRN or HAZMAT equipment
- Current U.S. driver’s license
- 6 or more years of experience supporting military or civilian CBRN logistics and training function
- Completed training in one of the following Military Occupational Specialties: 74D, 74E, 5711, 5702, 3E9X, 32E
- Completion of HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training
