Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Project Engineer - EIT (not a must have)

📍 Richmond, VA – (open to relocating candidates)

I’m partnering with a top-tier, well respected Civil engineering consulting firm with a strong and growing presence in Virginia. This team is known for complex, high-profile land development and infrastructure projects and offers a long-term career path for civil engineers who want technical depth, ownership, and stability.

• Support the design and permitting of civil/site and land development projects
• Prepare and review site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utilities, and erosion control
• Perform stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies throughout project life cycles
• Develop technical reports, construction documents, and cost estimates
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and internal coordination
• Work across commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and infrastructure projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of civil/site or land development experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• EIT preferred or on track

• Strong Virginia project pipeline with long-term stability
• Clear career progression toward senior and project leadership roles
