• Prepare nuclear engineering documents, including engineering design change packages, 50.59 screen and applicability reviews, and engineering assessments to support piping replacements, floor loading, rigging heavy loads, and other large capital project activities.
• Approve procedures, drawings, calculations, contingency plans, and training materials.
• Work in the field to support implementation activities.
• Provide civil engineering support for large, complex projects at SPS, including crane replacements, feedwater heater replacements, building modifications, large piping, and other major component replacements.
• Schedule major engineering segments of complex projects to meet long‑range design development schedule goals.
• Attend station schedule and outage meetings.

• 10+ years of design engineering experience.
• Civil/Structural Engineering degree (B.S. minimum, M.S. a plus, ABET accredited). Will accept years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with equipment design and procurement specification document development.
• Engineering design change qualified (Standard Design Process IP-ENG-001).
• 10 CFR 50.59 Screen preparation and review experience.
• Nuclear industry experience.

Base salary range: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour (dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills).
