The successful applicant will help our client researching and analyzing operational activities to help increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer service and optimize overall operations by identifying more efficient ways to manage resources.

• Formulates solutions to resolve any issues relating to design specifications preparation.
• Analyzes design specifications submittals for conformance with the CLIENT’S Standard Design Criteria and Construction Specifications and with Construction Specification and Drawing deficiencies.
• Coordinates with other CLIENT’S offices to ensure Specifications compatibility with procurement regulations, legal contract clauses and the CLIENT’S Compact.

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or related field.

• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in development and review of contract/standards specifications.

Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty-seven and one-half hour (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one‑half hour unpaid lunch break.

Overtime:
Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work, all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
