Job Description
SEH is currently searching for a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our talented Water/Wastewater team.
Responsibilities- Support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage, or conveyance projects.
- Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers, and other professionals.
- Collaborate with multi‑discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
- Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers.
- Position is open to candidates residing in the state of Virginia.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment or conveyance.
- Four (4) years of previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects.
- Previous experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents.
- Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management.
- Proficiency with design applications such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Revit.
- Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including software.
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $95,000 and $115,000 based on skill set and experience.
