Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
SEH, an employee‑owned engineering, architectural, planning and environmental company, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team. The role involves supporting the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage, and conveyance projects.
Responsibilities- Develop creative and innovative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other professionals across multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Prepare project plans, specifications, and bidding documents.
- Assist in project proposal preparation and client service management.
- Build and strengthen client relationships with the support of experienced project managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain a PE license within six months of hire.
- Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment or conveyance.
- Four (4) years of experience as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software.
Open to candidates residing in the state of Virginia. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
CompensationBase salary in the range of $95,000 to $115,000 based on skill set and experience.
