Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer
Micron Technology is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Fab Process Integration Technician to support the integration and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role coordinates process improvements, analyzes production data, and collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and process changes. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, yield improvement, and continuous enhancement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify integration issues and opportunities for improvement in yield, output, cost, and quality.
- Collaborate with module owners, process engineers, manufacturing teams, and equipment owners to implement process changes and new technology introductions.
- Utilize both internally developed software and externally developed tools to perform data analysis.
- Summarize complex product-related data into technical reports to support strategic direction.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to resolve integration bottlenecks and maintain production flow, troubleshooting efforts for yield, defect, and process stability concerns.
- Document process changes, maintain integration records, and provide updates to management.
- Participate in process audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security protocols and proactively address EHSS concerns.
- Day shift or 1st shift position, with flexibility to meet business needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, or an equivalent technical environment.
- Familiarity with semiconductor process integration concepts, yield improvement, and defect reduction strategies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and resolve process integration challenges.
- Experience with process monitoring tools such as SPC, FDC, and data analysis software.
- Some college coursework in engineering, materials science, statistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of fab tools and systems such as Tool View, ETI, and Data Navigator.
