Senior Cyber Test Engineer; Onsite

CODEX (Cyber Offense and Defense Experts) division brings together an elite team of mission‑focused industry experts known for overcoming advanced technical challenges. The team comprises engineers in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, system engineering, and data analytics. Engineers work with cutting‑edge technology to ensure mission success.

CODEX is seeking a cyber test engineer for a high‑visibility CNO development team. The role involves verifying product consistency and quality, engaging stakeholders, deriving system requirements, and building real‑world test environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining custom test frameworks
• Creating test plans and detailed documentation
• Integrating customer tools and systems into test environments
• Applying knowledge of networking and Agile methodologies
• Communicating progress and issues to internal and customer stakeholders

• TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance
• Technical leadership experience leading small teams
• 5 years of test engineering or related experience
• 5 years of experience with offensive cyber operations
• 3 years programming in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language
• 3 years working on Linux/Unix systems
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, routing, VPN)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to interface with customers, end‑users, technical leads, and program management

• Experience building test automation frameworks
• Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans and reports
• Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies
• Ability to think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as Docker

Requires a degree in a technical discipline.
