Our client is seeking multiple experienced Electrical Critical Facility Technicians to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure. These roles are ideal for hands-on technicians with experience in data centers, healthcare facilities, government sites, or other critical environments where uptime and operational excellence are essential.
You will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems that support continuous operations, helping to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Support the reliability and performance of power distribution systems in mission-critical environments.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, compliance, and operational standards.
- Electrical power systems (AC & DC)
- Switchgear and power distribution equipment
- Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and battery systems
- Standby generators and fuel systems
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
- Electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, DLROs, and infrared scanning tools
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a critical facility environment such as a data center, hospital, government facility, or similar high-availability operation.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience with systems such as switch gear, generators, UPS, and power distribution equipment.
- Current City of Harrisburg Electrical License preferred.
- Ability to obtain a City of Harrisburg Electrical License within one year of employment.
Applicants selected for these positions will be subject to a government security investigation and must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
