Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

General Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers, Superintendents and other field operations staff to achieve the effective, timely and profitable fulfillment of construction projects; maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other parties; support opportunities for future business; communicate and collaborate with management and staff within the Group and throughout the company; support and personally adhere to the M-K core values, safety culture and related policies and practices, as well as all company operating and regulatory compliance-focused policies and practices.

• Provide technical support to the project team
• Maintain project plans, drawings, and reports
• Attend weekly progress meetings and record minutes
• Maintain accurate records
• Create and manage submittals and RFI logs
• Provide project reports and reporting data
• Support closeout, warranty, and punch-out processes
• Support development of project schedules
• Administer change orders and review claims
• Provide owner/client communication

• A two-year degree in related field required, with a B.S. or B.A degree in a related field of study preferred; specific training and education focused on the construction project management discipline and processes helpful.
• This is an entry level position with no experience required; however, experience in a field related to commercial construction is helpful.
