VN Engineers, Inc. is looking to hire a full‑time Senior Highway Engineer or Highway Project Engineer to be part of our growing Design Team! Responsibilities will include providing highway design services for ConnDOT, FDOT, RIDOT and VDOT projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the production of highway design plans, design calculations, and specifications for various highway transportation projects. Candidate must be a good technical writer and be able to handle multiple concurrent projects. Good communication, people and organization skills will be essential for a successful candidate.

Candidates are required to have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in either CT, FL, RI, or VA. Qualified candidates should be knowledgeable of Federal, State and Local design standards and be proficient in the following software packages:
Microstation, Open Roads, InRoads, and GeoPAK. Project Management Experience would be considered a plus but not required.
