We are seeking resumes for Process Control Engineering Co-ops (Multiple Openings for Fall 2026) at our Gladstone, VA Paper Mill.
Responsibilities:
- Provide process optimization and engineering support for the mill, including compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support.
- Develop and maintain methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
- Coordinate the efforts of outside resources to improve operations by filtering and utilizing appropriate information.
- Conduct data analysis projects and use data to make business decisions.
- Assignments may include work at higher levels for training and development purposes.
- Support the pulp & paper making, wastewater treatment, and recovery operations.
- Show interest and aptitude in controls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Student in good standing, currently enrolled in a Process Control Engineering or equivalent applicable engineering program.
- Completed freshman year or completing freshman year at co‑op start.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Eligible to work in the US full‑time.

- Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
- Make sound decisions through creative problem‑solving, ambiguity, and change.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports.

Pay & Benefits- Salary: $30.00 per hour for seniors, $29.00 per hour for juniors.
- $1,000.00 Monthly Housing Stipend.
- 1.5× pay over 40 hours in a week.
