We are seeking resumes for Process Control Engineering Co-ops (Multiple Openings for Fall 2026) at our Gladstone, VA Paper Mill.

Responsibilities:

• Provide process optimization and engineering support for the mill, including compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support.
• Develop and maintain methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
• Coordinate the efforts of outside resources to improve operations by filtering and utilizing appropriate information.
• Conduct data analysis projects and use data to make business decisions.
• Assignments may include work at higher levels for training and development purposes.
• Support the pulp & paper making, wastewater treatment, and recovery operations.
• Show interest and aptitude in controls.

Basic Qualifications:

• Student in good standing, currently enrolled in a Process Control Engineering or equivalent applicable engineering program.
• Completed freshman year or completing freshman year at co‑op start.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Eligible to work in the US full‑time.

• Exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
• Make sound decisions through creative problem‑solving, ambiguity, and change.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• Read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions, and reports.

• Salary: $30.00 per hour for seniors, $29.00 per hour for juniors.
