About the Role:This role is ideal for a Project Engineer early in their career journey who has gained some hands-on project delivery experience and is looking to take the next step within a large FMCG manufacturing environment. You'll have the opportunity to own projects from concept through to execution while learning from an experienced Capital Engineering team.
You will partner with operations stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities for operational improvement, feasibility assessment, and develop a compelling business case.
- Coordinate equipment suppliers, factoryaccessand contractors to develop budgets,timelines and specifications to support the capex justification in accordance with relevant site and industry safety, foodsafetyand quality standards
- Develop capex documentation for capex approval and rigorously manage the execution of multiple concurrent projects to achieve identified deliverables on time and within budget including coordination of project teams
- Regular capitalspendforecasting and Capital project close activities
- Apply your awareness ofnew technology and how it could be used in an FMCG/ food manufacturing environment
- Use a systematic approach to project management
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tamwithout chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
- Degree qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical,Chemicalor similar)
- Experience delivering engineering or capital projects within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to coordinate contractors,suppliers and operational stakeholders to achieve project outcomes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Exposure to budget management, projectplanningand project execution
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience with in FMCG, food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments highly regarded
- AutoCAD experienceadvantageous
