• Professional Engineer License; has held qualifications at a nuclear power station in the last 3 years – including Design Change, Calculations, and 50.59 applicability/screen

• GTStrudl
• MathCAD

• Candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing Design Changes, calculations, and technical evaluations in support of large capital projects as part of Client Power Station’s Subsequent License Renewal.
• Candidate will work extensively with Engineers of Choice and manufacturers to ensure designs satisfy technical specifications and station design/license basis.
• Projects include, but are not limited to – 96” circulating water intake piping replacement, 4160V Cable Replacement, Fuel Handling Cranes Replacement, Containment cooling coil replacement, and R22 Elimination

• B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Engineering Mechanics

• Able to apply practical solutions to field problems
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, internally to the team and with external vendors
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team

• Overtime generally available. Overtime is required during implementation and outages
