As our Card Services Specialist
, you’ll provide essential operational and member support related to debit, credit, and ATM cards. Your work ensures card transactions are handled accurately, disputes are resolved correctly, and members feel supported and secure.
What You’ll Do:
- Resolve member inquiries related to card transactions, account statements, disputes, rewards programs, and card management.
- Process credit card loan adjustments in accordance with policies and regulations, including annual reviews, rate or limit changes, and other modifications.
- Handle all debit, credit, and ATM disputes, including fraud research, provisional credits, chargebacks, write-offs, insurance claims, and record keeping; prepare monthly write-off reports.
- Monitor credit and debit card fraud cases and support members through resolution, document activity and track trends.
- Administer rewards program, including processing redemption requests, tracking performance, and suggesting enhancements based on industry trends.
- Monitor and maintain card stock and supplies, coordinating with vendors to ensure adequate inventory and quality service.
- Support program changes or enhancements, ensuring accurate implementation and minimal disruption.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and applicable Federal and State regulations; ensure compliance with network regulations and chargeback rights. Follows all BSA policy and procedures including the completion of annual BSA training.

- Members receive timely, accurate assistance with card‑related questions and issues.
- Disputes and fraud cases are processed correctly, documented thoroughly, and completed within required timelines.
- Required reporting completed on time with consistent accuracy.
- The card rewards program is administered smoothly and contributes to positive member experiences.
- Policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed consistently.
What You Bring:
- Experience:
2–3 years in card services, banking operations, or a related financial services role. - Education:
High school diploma required; associate degree or certifications in banking related roles preferred. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear communication and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and member service.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a stationary position for most of the day.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without accommodation.
- Office setting with occasional travel for training or meetings.
