CONTROLLER $150,000 - $175,000

We're partnering with a purpose-driven client seeking a seasoned Controller with UNANET expertise to join their leadership team. This is more than a typical accounting role - it's a seat at the table. Our client is a well-established and steadily growing organization with deep roots in the government contracting space. They're looking for someone who can provide both strategic insight and hands‑on leadership to help scale and strengthen their financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred); CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of financial compliance, reporting, and audit practices
  -public accounting experience is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with UNANET is required.
• Background in small to mid‑size government contracting (Gov Con) environments is highly desirable.
• Comfortable presenting financials and insights directly to ownership or executive teams.

• Lead core accounting functions, including oversight of AP and AR, while mentoring a small internal team.
• Partner with HR to support payroll processes (currently outsourced).
• Ensure financial compliance with government contract requirements - SCA experience is a strong plus.
• Manage monthly close, invoicing via UNANET, and prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership.
• Contribute to audits, process improvement, and strategic planning conversations.
