Requirements- A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is often required. Some employers may prefer candidates with a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM).
- Experience in financial analysis, market research, or related fields, typically 3-5+ years.
- Familiarity with financial markets, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and foreign exchange markets.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably using statistical software or programming languages (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, SQL).
- Knowledge of market impact analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Fact Set, Tableau).
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of econometric modeling or statistical analysis techniques.
- Understanding of global financial markets, economic indicators, and their impact on asset prices.
- Awareness of regulatory environments and compliance requirements relevant to financial analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and market commentary.
- Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze information from various sources.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and potential impacts on investments or business strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other analysts, researchers, traders, and portfolio managers.
