Job OverviewThe Plant Controller will serve as a vital member of the plant leadership team, providing financial and operational expertise.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the plant manager and leadership team to enhance plant profitability.
- Take ownership of financial reporting, planning, and support for the Frames facility.
- Standardize and share best practices in financial processes and internal controls with other plant controllers.
- Implement and enhance inventory processes and procedures, such as standard costing, cycle counting, and tracking.
- Produce monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial performance reviews with the plant manager and team.
- Provide analysis on operational metrics affecting financials, such as overtime, attrition, and efficiency gains/losses.
- Lead annual physical inventory valuations and reconciliations across financial statements and systems.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, engaging plant and customer service leadership throughout.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of reported monthly, quarterly, and annual numbers.
- Manage accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies for fixed asset management.
- Influence capital project planning and ROI analyses.
- Drive improvements in accounting procedures to enhance controls and operational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated self-starting ability and eagerness to learn, delivering high-quality and accurate results.
- Collaboration with plant manager and key leaders on strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a track record of developing innovative solutions.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion.
- Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred, and Public Accounting background
- 5-8 years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed
