Plant Controller

The Plant Controller will serve as a vital member of the plant leadership team, providing financial and operational expertise.

• Collaborate with the plant manager and leadership team to enhance plant profitability.
• Take ownership of financial reporting, planning, and support for the Frames facility.
• Standardize and share best practices in financial processes and internal controls with other plant controllers.
• Implement and enhance inventory processes and procedures, such as standard costing, cycle counting, and tracking.
• Produce monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial performance reviews with the plant manager and team.
• Provide analysis on operational metrics affecting financials, such as overtime, attrition, and efficiency gains/losses.
• Lead annual physical inventory valuations and reconciliations across financial statements and systems.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, engaging plant and customer service leadership throughout.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of reported monthly, quarterly, and annual numbers.
• Manage accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies for fixed asset management.
• Influence capital project planning and ROI analyses.
• Drive improvements in accounting procedures to enhance controls and operational efficiencies.

• Demonstrated self-starting ability and eagerness to learn, delivering high-quality and accurate results.
• Collaboration with plant manager and key leaders on strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a track record of developing innovative solutions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion.
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA preferred, and Public Accounting background
• 5-8 years of relevant Finance and/or Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience performing ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed
