Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Controller for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a company in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting activities.
• Supervise a team and develop their skills.
• Handle management reports.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and cash flow.
• Conduct cost accounting and communicate with management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Controller, managing a team.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, advanced Excel, knowledge of Sage a plus.

Compensation:

• Contract pay: $55 to $65 per hour.
• Permanent salary range: $120K to $140K.
