Job Summary:
The Partner Support Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and mortgage lenders and internal partners, driving growth and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. This role involves managing a portfolio of accounts with all products (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, NonQM), providing product knowledge, supporting brokers throughout the loan process, and overseeing pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities:- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers and partners to enhance business growth.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about loan products, and regulatory changes to provide accurate information and guidance to partners.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance to partners and act as a liaison to schedule training courses with Sales Assistants, Account Executives, Operations partners or Broker Support for TPO Portal and processes.
- Pipeline Management: Monitor and manage the loan pipeline, ensuring timely communication and updates to brokers regarding their submissions. Manage timely cancellations of loans, update regularly regarding status, complete internal processes to drive pipeline movement, manage locks to ensure they do not expire, and manage compliance tool hurdles to ensure timely Closing Disclosure release, Clear to Close and Closing. Knowledge of product and pricing and the ability to reprice utilizing pricing engine when required.
- Processing Functions: Oversee the pipeline of loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Condition Authority: Receive, review, clear or move conditions to the Underwriting team timely and with precision. Ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and verified and appropriate review type is selected for each Underwriting review.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by brokers in a timely and professional manner.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the mortgage industry, with a knowledge of all products (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, NonQM) wholesale & Non delegated (mini corr) lending or account management.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage-related software, Encompass experience preferred.
