Director of Finance – Botetourt County

The Director of Finance performs complex professional finance work involving the research, analysis, preparation and maintenance of financial models, reports, plans, policies, and procedures and the application of appropriate technology and systems to support long-term fiscal stability, the preservation and enhancement of creditworthiness, and diligent day-to-day budget planning and management in coordination with department and agency heads and county administration. The Director is also responsible for the administration of accurate and efficient procurement and accounts payable functions and for supporting the work of independent auditors, financial advisors, and other agents and advisors engaged by and on behalf of the County.
