Duties and tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• This role requires the ability to correspond and conduct meetings in Spanish with clients, partners, and internal teams, in addition to English.

Responsible fortimelyprocessing of Conventional, FHA and VAmortgage loan applications in compliance with investor requirements. VHDA and NCHFA processing experiencea plus.

Ensure completeness of mortgage loan applications, clarifying and obtainingadditionaldocumentation as needed

Prepare loan file for underwriting approval

Proactive communication of loan status to originators,borrowersand agents

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base and ensure accurate loan processing.
• At least 3-5 years of experience processing mortgage loan applications
• Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, bond and conventional underwriting guidelines and loan process
• Prefer working knowledge of Encompass loan origination system
• Ability to review AUS findings and guidelines prior to loan submission to confirm that application fits loan program applied for
• Proficient in Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA)
• New Construction experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
