The InvestX Program is a four-day immersive introduction to Cambridge Associates (CA) and the fundamentals of investment management. Participants will build fluency across client types, major asset classes, portfolio construction, and CA’s research-driven approach through interactive sessions, panel discussions, case studies, capstone work, and networking with investment professionals and firm leaders. InvestX is intended for college students interested in financial services, investing, and client work.

Prior investment management experience is not required. The program is especially well suited for students who want practical exposure to the industry in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Students will have the opportunity to travel to CA’s office in Arlington, VA for the entirety of the program.

4 days at Cambridge Associates’ office in Arlington, VA Cambridge Associates will cover travel and related expenses. Participants will need to bring their own technology (computer, phone, etc.) to program.

Open to all students in Classes 2028 & 2029; all majors are welcome

• Learn how an investment management and advisory firm support a wide range of clients
• Build familiarity with major asset classes and their role in portfolios
• See how research, diverse manager investing, and sustainable and impact investing inform portfolio construction
• Work in teams on a client style capstone assignment and present recommendations
• Connect with Cambridge Associates leaders, investment professionals, and employee communities

• Gain direct exposure to investment professional and senior leaders across the firm
• Develop a stronger understanding of how portfolios are built and managed
• Practice analyzing client needs and presenting recommendations in teams
• Learn about career paths, recruiting, and life at Cambridge Associates
• Build relationships with peers through shared sessions, meals, and social activities

• Eagerness to explore and learn about the investment industry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in team environment demonstrated through previous work, volunteer, or extracurricular activities

Base salary range for this role:
Pay Range Minimum: 0 Pay Range Maximum: 0 In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
