Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analysts to provide financial management support to the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) for Munitions PMX-311 Terminal Defense Systems (TDS) (previously PEO IWS 11) Program Office. PAE Munitions PMX-311 is comprised of the Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), Directed Energy, Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS), Gun Weapon Systems (GWS), and the international cooperative Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) program with Germany.
We are looking for a qualified individual to provide day-to-day leadership support to the Government’s Financial Team in the development, execution and monitoring of program budget activities for the RAM and CIWS programs.
Provide leadership for programming, budgeting and execution support with day-to-day communication and interface with the BFM and the Government Financial team
Support program execution activities of SCN, RDT&E, OM&N, WPN, OPN and Army funding appropriations
Utilize and maintain financial management tools to track approved funding, execution status and current obligations and expenditures by task, appropriation and activity.
Prepare financial data and documentation for incorporation into budget requirements/changes, Program Plan Execution, monthly status reports and other financial reports
Execute and track funding, spend plan development, and detailed cost reporting and analysis using the latest DoW/Navy financial systems
Assist in identifying and resolving financial execution issues such as missed benchmarks, emerging requirements, budget shortfalls, and funds availability
Prepare Financial Manager execution/obligation reports on the status of program appropriations
Lead the effort for support task planning preparation utilizing the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) Task Planning Sheets (TPS) process
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years financial support services experience with Navy/DoW programs
Proficient in the use of technical applications including MS Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite products
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work supporting senior program leadership
Must be able to obtain a SECRET US Government Clearance.
Note:
US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.Familiarity with Navy budgeting and execution tools including ERP and NEPS
