Our client is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the finance and accounting function for a premier hospitality destination. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and operational analysis, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive financial performance and support business objectives.
What You'll Own- Lead the annual budgeting process from development through execution, partnering with leaders to build operating and capital budgets that align with organizational objectives
- Own forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling, providing leadership with accurate, actionable financial insights
- Lead all finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and effective business support
- Drive profitability through financial analysis, variance reporting, and collaboration with operational leaders across the organization
- Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, audit coordination, tax compliance, and financial controls
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting frameworks to support continued growth and operational effectiveness
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to support key business decisions and capital planning initiatives
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership, helping balance guest experience objectives with financial performance goals
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred
- Progressive finance and accounting leadership experience within luxury hospitality, resort, hotel, club, or destination-property environments
- Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and presenting annual operating and capital budgets
- Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, reporting, internal controls, and business performance management
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with ownership, senior leadership, and operational stakeholders
- Demonstrated success partnering with operations leaders to improve financial performance and drive business results
