Tax Manager-Renewable Energy

Our client, a rapidly growing renewable energy company in Washington, DC is seeking a strong Tax Senior or Tax Manager from a Big 4 or national accounting firm to build and lead its internal tax function. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond advising clients and take ownership of the full tax function. Responsibilities include federal, state and local tax compliance and planning, management of outside tax advisors, ASC 740 tax provision and deferred tax, renewable energy tax incentives, partnership and tax equity structures, and supporting new projects and investments.

5+ years of tax experience, renewable energy exposure and strong partnership/tax equity or ASC 740 experience are highly valued; CPA/MST and HLBV experience are pluses. The ideal candidate is technically strong, hands-on, entrepreneurial and comfortable operating independently while partnering with Finance, Accounting, Legal and senior management. The role is in office 5 days and compensation is $150K–$175K + Bonus.
