** What success looks like in this role:*
* · In partnership with the Sr. Director, ERM & Government Regulations & Reporting and business unit operational teams build a program, including governance framework, policies, processes, standard reporting requirements and monitoring protocols, around government requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update organizational policies that align with government regulations.
· Develop, implement, and monitor processes to ensure standardization, quality, and timely compliance with reporting requirements (e.g., contractual, government consultant / lobbyist, NASPO, etc.).
· Develop, monitor, analyze and report on key performance metrics.
· Remain up to date on new and emerging state and local government regulations, assess their relative impact on the organization, and implement plans to comply.
· Analyze regulatory data and trends to identify potential impacts on the organization and develop strategic responses.
· Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, sharing your knowledge of state and local government requirements and ensuring a positive working relationship and facilitating smooth interactions.
· Develop and deliver training programs for staff to enhance their understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting procedures.
· Act as the key liaison across the organization for government reporting.
** You will be successful in this role if you have:*
* · Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role, preferably within state and local government settings.
· Deep understanding of government regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting protocols.
· Demonstrated strength in solving complex problems, developing strategies aligned to business requirements and ability to analyze and leverage data to develop innovative solutions.
· Proactive and strategic thinker, capable of navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving organizational compliance initiatives.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication, verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to interact effectively with all levels within an organization and the ability to build broad internal and external networks.
· Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
· Preferred membership in the National Association of Government Contractors (NAGC) or Government Contractor Association (GCA).
