As a key member of the leadership team, the Deputy County Administrator plays an integral role in directing and coordinating the delivery of county and Public Service Authority (PSA) services. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in public administration principles and practices, including budgeting and finance, personnel, procurement and contracting, productivity improvement, policy development, and intergovernmental relations.
As Deputy County Administrator, you will build and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, community partners, and neighboring agencies, representing Henry County with credibility and trust. In your role as Assistant General Manager of the Public Service Authority, you will help manage rates-supported utility services and ensure they keep pace with the county’s growth.

What we're looking for:- A bachelor's degree (public administration, business, political science, or related field preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least five years of senior-level government administration experience
- A leader who is focused on solving problems, building relationships, and guiding teams toward shared goals
Salary Range: $120,296 - $150,903, commensurate with experience and qualifications
