Position

Sheltering Arms is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our outpatient team. This position provides coverage at our Bon Air center.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of speech and language needs of adults with swallowing and/or speech and language disorders.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred.
  • Good communication and organization skills as well as a strong sense of flexibility.
  • Amp Care experience is a plus.
Education/Certifications
  • Master’s Degree from an ASHA-accredited program in Speech and Language Pathology required.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - SLP required.
  • Current license by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a SLP required.
  • Healthcare Professionals CPR required.
