This is a flexi-pool role that will provide treatment coverage at 4 outpatient therapy centers in Hampton, Newport News, and Yorktown.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. You may assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
You will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Additionally, you will supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Minimum Education and Certification Requirements:- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
